Autumn is the season of plenty, and nowhere more so than at RHS Garden Wisley, where a vibrant programme of events will keep visitors inspired throughout the season.

The autumn programme will start with the finale of the garden show season at the RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show, which runs from Tuesday September 4 to Sunday September 9. The show will feature more than 50 specialist nurseries, including RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Palace Flower Show medal winners.

A Heather Society Show on Saturday, September 22, will feature heathers for sale, planting and care demonstrations and expert advice. On the same morning, photographers have the opportunity to gain entry to the gardens before they open to the general public, to capture the autumn beauty of the garden with their cameras.

Until Sunday, September 23, the Surrey Sculpture Society Trail enables visitors to discover a variety of contemporary and traditional sculptures, while enjoying the beauty of the garden in early autumn.

Entry to the gardens will be completely free of charge on Tuesday, October 2, for visitors to enjoy the glorious colours of autumn.

WoodFest will run from Friday, October 5 to Sunday, October 7, when visitors can admire traditional skills in a weekend-long celebration of the natural beauty of wood, including artisan woodcraft demonstrations, tree listening, horse logging and tours of Wisley’s woodland.

Visitors should prepare to be tempted by a range of local and artisan food and drink stalls during a Taste of Autumn event, which will run between Wednesday, October 17 and Sunday, October 21 when there will be a chance to enjoy the best of the season at Wisley’s harvest celebration.
