Such sad news of a lovely kind person.
Miss Jerome was my teacher when I started school at the age of five and I have know her most of my life.
To think she taught all those years at Sandfield to so many children but she always remembered me when I saw her.
I was so lucky to meet up with Pat when I visited St Francis Church, and I visited her in her nursing home not long before she died.
I have such fond memories of a lovely teacher and hope many of her pupils have too.

I have nothing but lovely memories of her.
First as my teacher at Sandfield School, then years later I regularly did her hair until I emigrated to Canada.
She was devoted to her parents and her church.
Rest in Peace now Pat, your journey is over.

I started at Sandfield in 1963 and remember Miss Jerome well.
She was a lovely lady who was devoted to her pupils.
Sad to hear that she has passed but what an amazing age she reached. RIP, you have served us well.
