Creatures great and small, as well as humans young and older, all joined in the fun once again in Guildford High Street on Shrove Tuesday (February 12) for the traditional pancake races.

Organised by the Charlotteville Jubilee Trust, it, along with the Eagle Radio Trust and Guildford Action, will benefit from the money raised.

Guildford MP Anne Milton not only cooked pancakes, but took part in a race herself.

A number of teams entered including the Harvey Road Playgroup, Sandfield and Holy Trinity Primary Schools, the Surrey Advertiser and Guildford Borough Council.
