Park Barn Centre Calls For Cargo Netting For D-Day Commemoration

The Park Barn Centre is commemorating the 70th anniversary of D-Day during the Second World War, on Friday, June 6.

Support officer at the centre Roger Hayman says: “We will be having what we call ‘meal of the month’ for the clients and someone singing in the afternoon.”

Do you have any cargo netting that the Park Barn Centre can borrow?

There will be wartime displays, but the day centre is in need of some green cargo netting to hang up to give the day centre an authentic feel.

The call goes out for anyone who has some that they can borrow, or a contact where some can be obtained.
