Visitors to Guildford Borough Council’s Millmead offices can now see a fitting tribute to the late and most respected former councillors Bill and Doreen Bellerby.
The framed photograph of Freemen of the Borough of Guildford, Bill and Doreen Bellerby, in the foyer of the council offices in Millmead.
A framed photograph of them wearing their freedom of the borough robes has been unveiled by the Mayor of Guildford, Mike Parsons, attended by relatives of the Bellerbys, friends, council staff and councillors.
Bill and Doreen’s MBE medals are also within the frame.

Well known Guildford resident Shirley West BEM, who was a great friend to Bill and Doreen was invited to the unveiling and was instrumental getting the picture hung at the council offices along with Cllr Marsha Moseley.
Shirley said: “I was overjoyed to see my dearest friends Bill and Doreen Bellerby honoured by Guildford Borough Council for all their wonderful work and dedication to the borough. It is a fantastic tribute to them.”
