Surrey Police are appealing for the public’s help with an investigation into child sexual exploitation in central Guildford.

A police spokesperson said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information which can help us understand what has been taking place in a house on Sydenham Road in Guildford.

Officers arrested five people at the address in November, in connection with their investigation: a man aged 32 from Sydenham Road, Guildford; a woman aged 41 from Cromwell Road, Kensington, London; a woman aged 39 from Sydenham Road, Guildford; a woman aged 22 from Fairfield Close, Guildford; and a woman aged 39 from Westonfields, Guildford.

All were arrested on suspicion of child sexual exploitation. The man and the 39-year-old woman from Sydenham Road were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

All of the suspects have been released on police bail while we undertake further enquiries.

Investigators are urging anyone who has noticed anything suspicious on the street, or who may be concerned about their own children attending an address on Sydenham Road, to get in touch.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them using webchat on their website https://www.surrey.police.uk/, quoting PR/ 45210121861.
