Surrey Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a collision on the M25 yesterday afternoon that left an 10-year-old child with serious injuries.
Officers were called to a single vehicle collision around 3.41pm yesterday afternoon (May 29), on the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25 between Junction 5 and Junction 6.
South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance also attended to provide medical treatment to the injured parties at the roadside.
The 45-year-old driver and a 14-year-old male passenger were treated for minor injuries. The 10-year-old girl remains in hospital in a serious condition. All three were members of the same family. The car involved was a silver Mini.
No arrests have been made in connection with the collision and enquiries remain ongoing.
The road was closed for several hours while vital evidence was secured and the road made safe for onward travel. We would like to thank motorists for their patience while we dealt with this incident.
