Police Appeal For Information Following Indecent Exposure

Police officers are appealing for information following an indecent exposure incident in Guildford yesterday (Thursday, June 8).

A man exposed himself to a woman in her 30s. The incident took place between 6.30pm and 6.40pm in Hunter Road, which runs between the Epsom Road and Harvey Road.

It was reported that a man parked his car and got out of the vehicle and exposed himself before driving away.

The man is described as being white, around 5ft 9”, of a medium build and having short brown hair.

He was travelling in a whiter Vauxhall Insignia. The Vauxhall badge was missing from the front of the vehicle.

PC James Fraser, said: “This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and the victim is understandably distressed by what she saw. The offence took place in broad daylight at a busy time of day with young families walking by.

“I would urge anyone in the vicinity that may have seen something to get in touch. Any information, however small it may seem, could help us with our investigation.”

A police spokesperson said with information should: “…call Surrey Police on 101 quoting 45170060361 or you can use the online reporting system found at https://report.police.uk and enter the reference number in the ‘Additional information’ section.

“Information can alternatively be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
