Police Appeal for Witnesses to Fatal M25 Collision

Police accident signSurrey Police is appealing for witnesses after a woman died following a collision on the M25 at Wisley in the early hours today (January 1).

The collision, involving a blue Lexus and a white HGV lorry which were both travelling anti-clockwise, took place between junctions 10 and 11 around 1.40am.

A woman in her 30s from the London area, who was a rear passenger in the Lexus, suffered severe injuries as a result of the collision and died en-route to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

The driver of the Lexus suffered minor injuries.

The motorway was partially closed while emergency services dealt with the incident but was fully reopened by 6am.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any further information, is asked to contact Surrey Police’s Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting incident reference P14000113.
