Police Investigation Launched After Man Dies At House In Westborough

Surrey Police officers were called to an address in Southway, Guildford on Tuesday (September 3) following concern for the safety of a man at the property.

Officers attended at around 11.20am after receiving a call from South East Ambulance Service.

The man was confirmed dead a short time later and his next of kin have been informed.

The police say an investigation will now be carried out to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.

Curious neighbours and local residents were standing nearby this afternoon awaiting further information about the incident.

Six police officers were observed at the scene along with personnel who appear to be from other agencies.

One neighbour said that the house at which the incident took place is occupied by a middle-age couple.
