Police Seek Witnesses to Attempted Knifepoint Robbery

The police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted knifepoint robbery, which took place at the Co-Op in Woodbridge Road, on the corner with Markenfield Road, Guildford, at around 7.10am on Friday, March 15.

The victim was threatened with a knife, but nothing was taken and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, around 5ft 10in and of slim build. He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, black trousers, black trainers, and a black balaclava.

Police say: “If you were in the area at the time, or have any information that could help our investigation, please contact us quoting PR/ 45240029637.”
