Prayer and Song for Ukraine To Mark Anniversary of the Invasion

The Ukrainian School Surrey, together with the Ukrainian folk ensemble Syla Rodu, will be hosting a commemorative gathering at Christ Church, Guildford, on Tuesday (February 24).

They will be coming together to mark four years since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022.

This evening of prayer and song at the church in Waterden Road is a moment of remembrance for people who have lost their lives. It is described as “an expression of solidarity with those who continue to defend their homeland, and a shared space for reflection, dignity, and hope”.
