Reader Chris Fair spotted the story that was published last year about a reunion of Stoke School pupils from the 1950s.

He wonders whether any readers whose parents also went to the school a decade or two earlier may recognise them in a photo he has.

The picture was taken on July 12, 1930, and his father, then a pupil at Stoke school, is featured among the nine boys who Chris says would have been about 14 years old.

The boys are pictured on the beach at Bognor Regis and were probably just about the leave school.

His father’s name was Ernest, but was always known as Mick! He is wearing the white shirt in the centre of the group on a school outing.

If you recognise anyone call Chris on 07966 110236, or send him an email to: cj.fairs@btinternet.com
