    One wonders whether there was a cost-benefit analysis of doing the work overnight, with less pollution and less disruption, as opposed to day time working, considering the weight of traffic on all these roads.

    I think most Guildfordians would know the A320 “Jacobs Well” traffic lights replacement as the entrance to Slyfield Industrial Estate.
    We will know next week if they missed the warning signs.

    No mention of the continuing farce at Stoke Crossroads. Maybe SCC considers their bit finished and just waiting on Highways England.

    Of course, you could be held up by all the other road works. These reports from SCC don’t take account of pothole repairs, apparently managed locally by Kier, so little knowledge in SCC or formal monitoring.

    But they are looking at solving that over the next year.
