Did You See a Woman Being Robbed at Knifepoint in Guildford?

A woman was robbed at knifepoint in Guildford on Sunday (January 14) and police are appealing for witnesses.

According to a Surrey Police press release: “The woman was walking along Walnut Tree Close just after 5.20am when she was approached by two men. One of the men threatened her with a knife and demanded that she hand over her wallet. He grabbed her mobile phone and headphones and both men ran off towards the train station car park.
“The first man is described as black, aged 21-24 years, and was wearing a black top and black baseball cap. The second man is described as black, aged 21-24 years, and was wearing a black hooded top which was pulled up around his face.”
Police report that they have carried out a number of enquiries but would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw two men matching the descriptions above in the area at the time.
