Serious Collision on the A3 – Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a serious road traffic collision on the southbound A3 near to Burnt Common.

The single vehicle collision happened at around 3.20pm (October 2) and the injured man has been taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area due to a build-up of traffic and collision investigation work taking place on the carriageway.
