Celly’s (pronounced Selly’s) unisex hair salon has just opened at 1 Jeffries Passage in Guildford, on the corner with North Street.

Enthusiastic hair stylists Shantel Bayley and Sabine Flack said there had been lots of interest in its first few days.

Shantel said: “Business has been steady and it’s quickly picking up.

“It’s a walk-in unisex salon, and every service we provide is £14. It’s the cheapest hair salon in Guildford.”

Celly’s is part of a chain of more than 40 salons around the country and they are recruiting for four experienced Level 3 NVQ stylists at the new Guildford branch.

Sabine said: “Guildford is an ideal place for us to set up in, it’s a busy, bustling town. Celly’s stands out because you can walk straight in without an appointment and it’s great value for money.

“I love it here. Everybody has been so friendly.”
