You must see this – The Comedy of Errors, the latest production from the Guildford Shakespeare Company (GSC).
On a gloomy and soggy evening this fantastic company transformed the Castle Grounds into the setting for this timeless farce.
We are so lucky to have this theatre company in our town, the casting, the acting, the costumes, the set, everything is superlative.
Charlotte Conquest has once again directed with a masterful hand.
The timing was absolutely spot on and the audience were enthralled.
Personally I was feeling rather sad, reflecting on the awful news about MP Jo Cox and the strangeness of the world we live in.
In the midst of the anger, selfishness and confrontations that seem to be part of everyday life these days, the Guildford Shakespeare Company can transport you far away.
I am so pleased that Guildford Borough Council have been able to help GSC to find a home, albeit a stepping stone to greater things.
The Comedy of Errors is on until July 2, but buy your ticket quickly, they are bound to sell out once word gets out about this wonderful production!
It is also presenting Much Ado Abouty Nothing in the grounds of the University of Law, from July 15 to 30.
