image-329-origEveryone is invited to join the event which will run from noon to midnight. Individuals can choose to take part individually or as part of a team and split the hours among them to suit cyclists of all fitness levels.

A team of 12 experienced instructors will lead the spinning marathon to help keep participants motivated and protein shakes will be given out to assist with recovery. There will be charity buckets and sponsorship forms in reception on the day and Freedom Leisure is encouraging customers to donate their locker money to the cause as well.

“We are looking forward to raising much needed funds and awareness for the British Heart Foundation to help support their invaluable work”, says Freedom Leisure’s area manager Steve May.

“People of all ages and abilities can take part – a fair few of our staff members have already signed up. It’s a great opportunity for Spinning enthusiasts to raise money while enjoying a fantastic workout and we’re encouraging people to come down on the day, cheer on the cyclists and sponsor them.”

Registration is £5 per person or £60 for a team of up to 12 people. To sign up or for more information, contact the centre on 01483 443355.
