A group calling themselves Team Towry Rough Sleepers, made up of some auspicious financial advisors, will be completing one cold night out in Guildford this Thursday (March 27) raising money for Guildford Action.

Team

Team Towry Rough Sleepers.

The team work at the Guildford office of Towry Investment and say they are committed to the local community as well as charities like Guildford Action who work on the ‘front line’ with those who are suffering homelessness as well as issues surrounding isolated families.

The team will be made up of Mark Daunter, Fiona Oliver, David Villa-Clarke, Faye Church, Lee Matthews, Charlotte Screech, Charles Moody, Stuart Farrar, Andrew Kemp, Sarah Compton-Hall and Jon Bowes, with the addition of Charlie McCafferty from Guildford Action.

Charlie said: “To make a little more interesting we have been tough on the team, so there won’t be any roll mats allowed on the night.

“The venue will be the Guildford Spike Heritage Centre, which links in with homelessness of the past, as it was an emergency night hostel, where those needing a bed would work breaking stone for their night’s sleep. Thank you to them for letting us use a great community asset.”

The company has already sponsored its team, £1,500 towards the challenge. If you would like to make a donation click here.

The Mandolay Hotel has gifted breakfast to all those taking part.
