Teams Get Ready For Lions’ Raft Race

The Guildford Lions Charity Raft Race on Saturday, July 6, is a fun event for participating rafters and for spectators.

Home-made rafts made from bits of timber and barrels make a spectacular start from Millmead at 3pm and then paddle along the river to the Waterside Centre near Woking Road.

Anyone with a team of four to eight rafters can enter a raft. Entry forms and the rules for raft building and participation are available on the Lion’ website http://www.guildfordlions.com/ or contact John Fellows on 01483 546046.
