Teenager Punched and Robbed in Town Centre

A 17-year-old boy was knocked out and robbed by two men in the early hours of Wednesday, May 19 in Onslow Street.

The teenager was walking along Onslow Street, across the road from the Casino Nightclub, in the direction of Woodbridge Road at around 4am when he was approached by the men.

One of the men requested a cigarette which the victim gave him but he was then punched in the face and knocked to the ground. The victim temporarily lost consciousness, and when he came round he found that the loose cash he had been carrying in his pockets was gone.

The only descriptions of the suspects are that they were wearing dark clothing.

Surrey Police are now seeking witnesses. A spokesperson said: “If you have any information which could assist our investigation, please contact us quoting incident reference PR/45210052070 via:
