Are you looking to try something different in the new year? The Guildford Institute’s spring programme is out now!
With a broad range of courses, talks, visits, music recitals and exhibitions available, the institute aims to offer something for everyone in 2016.
More than 50 courses will be on offer this spring, with subjects including art history, drawing and painting, theatre studies and languages.
This term, there is a brand-new range of health and wellbeing courses on offer, which will seek to help deal with stress, become more mindful and introduce you to meditation.
Highlights also include a special talk about Alan Turing and his family links to Guildford from one of Guildford’s town guides, Paul Backhouse and to celebrate International Women’s Day there will be a talk on Baroness Wootton of Abinger.
The Guildford Institute will be organising a programme of visits with a private guided tour of the Houses of Parliament, a trip to London’s 14th-century monastery, The Charterhouse, a tour of Guildford Cathedral and a coach trip with exclusive talk and tour of Blenheim Palace.
The institute now accepts credit and debit card payments for all of its activities, meaning that it’s never been easier to get involved
