They’re Bowling Again At The Merrow Club

On Sunday, April 18, we had the great pleasure of opening our bowls green for the 2021 season.

Bowlers have taken to the green at Merrow for the first time in 2021.

A number of our members turned out for the event, which was held on a lovely sunny day, without a cloud in the sky.

President David Matthews made a short speech and delivered the first bowls, after which the bowlers were split into teams for an inaugural match.

We are all looking forward to playing competitive bowls again after such a dreadful period of lockdown.

It was a lovely sunny day.
