Third Local Motorcycling Collision Within Three Days Reported

Following a third collision, within three days in the local area, involving motorcyclists, a biker in his 60s was taken to a hospital in London by air ambulance with a suspected serious head injury.

The collision between a car and a motorbike in Send occurred yesterday evening this evening (May 10, 2017).

Officers were called to Send Barns Road at around 7.35pm following reports that a motorcyclist and a black Honda collided at the junction with Kevan Drive.

The road was closed while police carried out an investigation of the scene and was expected to reopen at around 11pm.

Surrey Police is urging anybody who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of each vehicle prior to the collision to call Surrey Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01483 639922 quoting, P17112274.

    There are far too many road accidents within the confines of the borough.

    The present infrastructure cannot cope even now, without further development.

    No doubt this will be taken into consideration by the new Executive.
