Threads Through the Cross, a nationally acclaimed textile exhibition by Jacqui Parkinson, will be on display at Guildford Cathedral between September 24 and November 3.

The cathedral says it is “offering visitors an immersive journey through the life, death, and the resurrection of Jesus”.
The artwork is a series of intricately stitched panels exploring key moments from the birth of Jesus to Pentecost.
Through rich textures, layered fabrics, and a wide range of embroidery techniques, the artist brings to life a deeply moving narrative that resonates with people of all backgrounds.

Threads Through the Cross will be at Guildford Cathedral from September 24 to November 3.
The exhibition is sponsored by Ecclesiastical Insurance, whose support helps make this cultural and spiritual experience free to all.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Jacqui Parkinson during two events and a creative workshop.
A tour and talk is on Thursday, September 25, at 10am and 7pm. Gain insights into the artist’s vision and hear the stories behind the stitches. Cost is £9.
A hands-on creative workshop will be held on Thursday, September 25, at 1pm. Open to all, from beginners to experienced artists. Cost is £25.
