Three-year-old Injured in Ash Hit and Run Incident

A three-year-old child was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with a suspected broken ankle following a hit and run incident in Ash this morning (January 30).

The incident took place in Shawfield Road near the junction with Youngs Drive around 8.40am.

It is believed that a small white car was involved in the collision and officers are carrying out a number of enquiries to trace the vehicle and its driver.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any other information which could help, to contact Surrey Police straightaway on 101, quoting incident reference P17022874.
