Try Your Hand At Bowls With Castle Green Club On May 4

If you fancy taking up bowls, go along to the Castle Green Bowling Club on Wednesday, May 4, when its members are holding an open day from 2pm to 7pm.

The Castle Green Bowling Club plays in what some consider to be the best setting in the county.

All you need is a flat pair of shoes. The club will have two coaches to assist newcomers on the green and other members will be there to welcome anyone who would like some tea and cake and a tour round the interesting club house.

Shirley West from the club says: “You will not find a prettier setting in which to play bowls than here in Guildford’s Castle Grounds or a friendlier club.”
So if you are interested there will be a very warm welcome on that day.
