Two Men Charged in Connection With Guildford Robbery

Two men have been charged following a knifepoint robbery that occured in Walnut Tree Close, Guildford, around 5.20am, January 14, 2018.

Mohamad Basatinh, 19, of Wharf Road, Guildford, and Mongi Khathi, 20, of Linden Court, Leatherhead, were charged with robbery and intimidating a witness.

The pair appeared at Staines Magistrate’s Court yesterday (February 20). Mongi was remanded in custody and Basatinh has been released on bail. They are both due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on 22 March.
