Two men were wounded in a knife attack in Ash on Wednesday night (February 13, 2019).

Officers were called to Fairview Road just after 9.08pm after reports of a stabbing. One man is in hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. A second man reported minor injuries but they were not thought to be serious.

At the same time, a vehicle was damaged on Harper’s Lane and police believe the incidents are linked.

Detective-Constable Tony Gravener, of Guildford CID, said: “We are taking this seriously. But I would like to reassure the community that we are following several leads to establish exactly what happened

“If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened or have any dashcam footage, this could be crucial to our investigation, so please get in touch.”

Anyone with information can call 101 (999 in an emergency).
