Visitors Enjoy Spring Beauty Of The Castle Grounds As Temperatures Soar

With some pleasing warm weather over the past few days, people have been out enjoying the sunshine and all that spring has to offer.

Guildford’s Castle Grounds is again looking splendid and on Friday (April 20) people flocked there to soak up the sun and enjoy the spring flowers.

The bowling green looked fantastic too!

The tulips still look impressive, but surely it won’t be too long before they go over, and we await this year’s summer bedding plantings.

Our volunteer photographer Dursun Onay took these photographs on Friday lunchtime.

The delightful weather continued into Sunday, although there was a thunderstorm over Guildford late on Saturday might.

This coming week, the forecast is for temperatures to cool back to normal for the time of year, with some rain expected.
