Surrey Police has released CCTV footage of a ram raid at a specialist car showroom in Ripley in which a classic Ford Escort Mexico was stolen.

The images show how the rare vintage racing car, which is valued at £120,000, was dragged from the showroom floor after being attached by chains to a Land Rover Defender which had smashed through the glass frontage.
