The incident took place at around 9pm and involved a suspect, wearing all black, smashing the window to the shop and stealing items worth approximately £500.

A spokesperson said: “Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area, has any dashcam or doorbell footage, or has any further information around this burglary to contact us.
