Witness Appeal After a Collision Between a Child and a Car in Guildford

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Guildford yesterday (August 10) between a black Volkswagen car and a pedestrian child who was using a scooter.

The incident occured at around 8.20pm on York Road in Guildford, at the junction with Denmark Road.

A child has been taken to hospital with serious injuries and the driver of the car is assisting officers with their enquiries.
