Witness Appeal After Assault on Woodbridge Road

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a moped driver was assaulted at the town end of Woodbridge Road (near Leapale Road), Guildford, on Monday (February 28).

The assault took place at around 8.45pm and involved the victim being pushed off his moped and punched in the face in an unprovoked attack. A 37-year-old man from Guildford was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail.
