Witness Appeal Following Effingham Robbery

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Effingham. 

Officers have been made aware of a report of a robbery that took place around 5.40pm on Wednesday, April 22, on Lower Road, Effingham.

Three men in a white van approached the victim while they were parked and stole a quantity of cash. It is believed the victim may have been followed from a nearby bank.

The driver of the van is described as a white man in his 50s, of average build, who was bald or had very short hair and was clean-shaven. He was wearing a grey hoodie.

A second man, believed to have been in the front passenger seat, is described as being in his 30s, approximately 5ft 7 inches tall, with a slim, muscular build. He was wearing black clothing and a black balaclava.

A third man, who was also a passenger, is described as white and was wearing black clothing and a face covering.

A police spokesperson said: “If you witnessed the incident, or have any dashcam footage of the area at the time, particularly between 5.35 – 5.45pm, please contact us quoting PR/45260046538 via:
