Did You Witness Indecent Offence in East Horsley?

Guildford detectives are appealing for witnesses following an incident of an indecent offence on a cricket pitch in East Horsley.

The offence took place on the green near Pennymead Drive on Thursday, September 18 sometime between 3pm and 3.15pm when a 56-year-old woman was out walking in the area.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5ft 8 to 5ft 10 tall, between 20 and 25-years-old and of a medium build. He had mousey coloured mid-length hair, was wearing dark trousers and carrying a rucksack.

Neighbourhood Officer PC Ed Lyons said: “This type of offence is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our communities. The victim was out and about in broad daylight in a public open space when she was subjected to this obscene sexual offence. I am urging anyone who may recognise the description of this offender to contact Surrey Police.
