I have lost count of the number of pedestrians that have been killed locally in recent years by moving vehicles.
What is going on? Bad driving? Speeding in built up areas? Insufficient policing? Lack of designated pedestrian crossings?
Nothing ever happens after promises are made by those elected to look after road safety. I think of the promises made to improve safety for pedestrians in Bridge Street.
