Woman in Late 80s Faces Court Case Over North Street Accident

Surrey Police have issued a summons for an 89-year-old Guildford woman following a serious road traffic collision in North Street, Guildford.

The incident took place on Friday, October 23  2015, shortly after 10.30am when the woman, who was driving a silver VW Polo, collided with a number of pedestrians outside the Friary Centre in Guildford town centre.

The woman is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates Court on July 26 for two offences of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
