Parish clerk Gaynor White said: “I’m pleased to say that we had a high turnout at our Armistice Day event. About 40 people attended.

“One lady and her husband attended as their son is currently serving in the armed forces.  A little white Westie decided to accompany piper Kenneth Thomson by howling during the first lament!”
