Young players and parent organisers at Guildford City Boys & Girls Football Club have spread some Christmas cheer delivering seasonal goodies to elderly residents.

Pat Rawlings receives a Christmas hamper from Ethan, Jasmine and Zoe – all members of Guildford City Boys & Girls Football Club.
The club plays its matches at Stoughton Recreation Ground, and on Saturday distributed the gifts to residents who live nearby.
The players donated items that were then made up into hampers and gift bags.
One of the recipients was Pat Rawlings, whose grandson Mikey plays for the club’s under 10s team. Pat’s late husband Ron was the kit manager at Woking FC for a number of years – so the family footballing tradition continues…
