Guildford Parkrun Results August 3, 2013

This week there were 169 runners, of whom 26 were first timers and 33 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Daniel WALLIS (JM15-19) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was first over the line in 16:43 – the fifth time in 13 appearances.
John SANDERSON (SM20-24) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second over the line in 18:09.
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) of Harrow AC, was third over the line in 18:43.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (unattached) 1,469 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (unattached) 1,373 pts.
David WOODCOCK (unattached) 1,350 pts.

Women’s placings:
Rose NICHOLSON (SW25-29) of Woking AC, was first (10th overall) over the line in 20:25 – first time in three appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was second (13th overall) over the line in 20:34 – has been first to finish on three previous occasions.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (16th overall) over the line in 20:49.

Current standing in the women’s annual points competition:
Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 1,656 pts.
Julia BONILLA (unattached) 1,514 pts.
Debbie AITKEN (Purple Patch Runners) 1,397 pts.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Chris FINILL (VM50-54) was graded 81.39% for the time 18:43 (third overall).
Daniel WALLIS (JM15-19) was graded 80.76% for the time 16:43 (first overall).
Julian SPENCER-WOOD (VM60-64) was graded 79.85% for the time 20:26 (11th overall).

Guildford parkrun started on March 10, 2012, and since then 2,029 different runners, including participants from 150 athletics clubs, have completed 7,550 runs covering a total distance of 37,750 km, and there have been 1,644 new personal bests.

The women’s course record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s course record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 15:30 on April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
