Guildford voted Remain. All Anne Milton has done is help avoid a no-deal Brexit. I disagree with her on many things but she had the courage to do the right thing by her constituents, the mark of a good local MP in my book.

Voting along the party line regardless of how ridiculous their policies does not make you a good local MP.

Ms Milton voted for Brexit with a deal that Boris Johnson voted against. This is a mess entirely of the Conservative Party’s making. Do I like Jeremy Corbyn? No, but given the choice I won’t be voting for Boris Johnson.

Judging by some comments, it would appear that the Conservative party has moved so far to the right, that anyone to the left or centre ground would probably count as a Marxist to some.
