In response to: Steam Loco’s Trip Through The Surrey Countryside May Not Be Seen Again

I also saw 60009 “Union of South Africa” on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Clapham Junction, Worplesdon and East Croydon.

The video opportunity at Worplesdon was particularly good as there was unbroken sunshine when the train came through with plenty of A4 “Chime” whistle all against a scenic background of some snow in adjacent fields and on the station platforms.

A fitting last video shot if this turns out to be the final opportunity to video No. 9 on the “Belmond British Pullman” train. Will need to wait and see if this is, in fact, the case.
