There we have it. Proof positive that the Conservatives are happy for Guildford Borough Council to permit building all over the green belt. Yet, this week, Boris Johnson stated at the Conservative manifesto launch, that new housing would be on brownfield sites.
What was that they keep saying about “honesty”?

Unfortunately, the Lib Dems locally are also determined to drive development in the green belt.
We don’t really have much choice, do we? As long as developers are running the agenda at a national and local level.
About time our representatives grew some teeth and supported what residents want, not greedy developers.

What a shambles. Save our precious green belt. Use the grotty brownfield around Guildford town.
