In response to: Analysing the Most Dramatic Local Election in Living Memory

Note the progress of the Green Party. Two candidates – one doing well in Ash Ward and the other elected in Tillingbourne where there was a Lib Dem alternative.

That could suggest that climate change is weighing heavier on the minds of those of voting age. Given that those most at risk were not old enough to vote this time, we could see rapid growth in Green Party representation in the near future.

Climate Change is an issue that must be addressed urgently at all levels of government so it is very much a local issue.
