The “yellow horror” appears to be an unloading gantry, designed for direct transfer from trucks into the reservoir.
Regarding concerns, the alternative to this assembly would be a future without water.
The current water scarcity is widely acknowledged, with hosepipe bans serving as a clear indicator of the situation. This gantry serves as a tangible response to that shortage.
