Sunday really was a very special day – well done Guildford Borough Council.

The market pulled in the crowds, even the shops were busier than they had been for a long while.

An air of jollity prevailed throughout the town and in the Castle grounds the Crawley Accordion Orchestra was playing and the bowling green was in full swing – a perfect Sunday.

I hope there’ll be lots more markets, festivals, seasonal markets and fairs in the High Street.
